This news just came out and we wanted to share it with you ASAP!
Seems that this year’s Detroit Music Awards has found the band nominated in the Outstanding Gospel/Christian Artist category – a first for us and an opportunity to reach even more people with our music and message.
This is the 20th anniversary of this venerable Motor City event and in the past such icons as Bob Seger, Ted Nugent and Kid Rock have graced the stage and taken home the coveted DMA prize.
This year, Sweet Crystal has been nominated for and hope to win in a category near and dear to our heart: Outstanding Gospel/Christian Artist.
Voting continues until 4/1/11 with the awards show on 4/15/11 at the Fillmore in Detroit.
