A funny thing....

...happened on my way from the couch to the TV today. I got a call from a casting agent and seems that I've been cast as a family member to Hillary Swank in her next feature film. Hmmm...never thought of myself as Swank per se, but if the label fits, it might just be designer. Speaking of designer, it's a circa 1980 film so should be quite a stroll down this rocker's memory lane as I did have a leading role in my life during that decade. Now, was that Spandex or parachute pants...can't quite remember.

Comfort Zone

At what point is a comfort zone just a place to hide? Is an opportunity to try something new that is outside of that "comfort zone" a scary thing or a welcome thing? Can we accept a major failure in an arena that we do not know easier than a minor disappointment in the area we live and work daily? How did we get here - I don't think it was my idea. Was it yours? If you come with me, will I go in, less afraid? Is there truly strength in numbers? Inspiration here for my next song:
